Kim Harris was inspired by her niece, Ruby, when she designed this playful quilt pattern. Made from bright- coloured fat quarters and fat eighths, the quilt contains the things that Ruby loves, such as her Bunny, Little Possum, Cheeky Monkey and Little Turtle. Kim suggests personalising the appliqué for your own little person and included the full alphabet for their name, too.

- Detailed step-by-step instructions, colour photographs and clear diagrams take you through the each step of this quilt pattern.
- Take inspiration from Kim’s colour scheme and use a bright colours and a red background as your colour palette. Or choose your own colour palette.
- Quilt as desired. Kim machine quilted in the ditch to stabilise the quilt and then hand quilted the blocks and border with Perle 8 thread.
