Three coordinated fabric boxes designed to hold festive treats will add festive flair to your Christmas table. They’ve been designed and made by Lenna Green, who shares all the detail you need in this pattern to make your own.

    • Make one, two or all three as a coordinated set
    • Pattern sheet included with all appliqué shapes and embroidery designs have been provided full size, ready for tracing
    • Lenna has written instructions for needleturn appliqué using freezer-paper templates, but the instructions can be readily modified to suit other methods if you prefer
    • The detailed embroidery guide lists the threads and stitches to use for every part of the designs
    • The embroidery uses a variety of simple stitches: backstitch, extended fly stitch, French knots, satin stitch, split stitch and whipped back stitch
    • A lovely hostess gift or Christmas gift for family, friends, colleagues, teacher, neighbours
    • Don’t just save them for Christmas – these boxes can be used in all sorts of ways: in the office, in your sewing room, even as gift boxes
    • Suitable for crafters with intermediate skills – although a determined beginner with some embroidery experience could give it a go
