Chapter 2

Chapter 2: Traditional binding (25 min) Monica demonstrates the traditional binding method and she shares her advice on fabrics and shows you how to cut your fabric for your binding.

Chapter 3

Chapter 3: Modern binding (7 min) Once you’ve mastered the traditional binding, you’ll learn how to create binding which is fully attached by machine – no hand sewing required.

Chapter 4

Chapter 4: Scalloped edge (19 min) Add more interest to your quilts with a scalloped edge. Monica shows you how to plan and create your scalloped edge.

Chapter 5

Chapter 5: Scalloped edge with piped binding (19 min) After you’ve mastered the scalloped edge, you can take this technique further by creating a scalloped edge with piped binding. Monica shares her advice on planning your piped scalloped edging, and then she shows you how to create the piping and attach it to your quilt.
