Chapter 1: Meet Caroline Sharkey (2 min) Meet quilt artist and teacher Caroline Sharkey as she shares her journey in art quilting and textile arts and shows you the desert scape you’ll be learning to make.

Chapter 2

Chapter 2: Prepare the plain fabric panels (2 min) Caroline shows you how to prepare the plain fabric panels and how to choose fabrics for your panels to replicate the desert sand.

Chapter 3

Chapter 3: Make the decorative panel (17 min) Using a variety of different fabrics cut into confetti-sized pieces, Caroline shows you how to create a decorative panel by creating your own fabric from a range of different fabrics and textile fibres collaged to create a single piece of fabric with texture.

Chapter 4

Chapter 4: Join the panels (5 min) Once your panels are ready, Caroline shows you how to stitch them together to create the finished landscape panel.

Chapter 5: Make the black and white decorations (7 min) Caroline shows you how to free-motion stitch the black and white decorative pieces to add to your finished design.
