Chapter 2: Select and cut your fabrics (11 min)
Michelle talks you through how she selected the fabrics for this quilt, and shares her advice on selecting your fabrics for your own version, with shows some examples of different fabric combinations to inspire your choices. Then she shows you how to cut a striped fabric for your piecing.
Chapter 3: Piece the woven panel (23 min)
Michelle takes you through machine piecing the woven panel, by creating the strip pieces, and how to cut your pieces for the woven units, laying the pieces and then sewing them together into units with partial seams.
Chapter 4: Prepare to quilt (6 min)
Deborah talks you through preparing for the quilting by choosing your batting, the options for your quilting threads, and the options for your free-motion machine quilting.
Chapter 5: Quilting with the walking foot (9 min)
Once your quilt is ready for the quilting, Deborah shares her advice on setting up your machine for quilting, then demonstrates how to do your quilting in the ditch along the woven panel design.
