International designer Amy Butler created this roomy overnight bag pattern, featuring straps, lots of pockets and an expandable gusset. The model project was made by Nicole Mallalieu, who also drafted the instructions provided in this bag pattern.

    • Full materials list included in instructions
    • Step-by-step instructions illustrated with diagrams and close-up photos will guide you through every stage of the project, with lots of hints and tips to help you along the way
    • The pattern for the bag’s front closure flap is provided full size, ready for tracing, with all other shapes are rotary cut, template free
    • Additional features include magnetic-clip flap closure, full lining for the bag and pockets and an internal zippered pocket
    • Because the bag is made from quilter’s cotton fabric (stiffened with batting), you can fully customise your bag, and it’s especially suited to large feature prints, as the size of the outer-bag panels is sufficient to showcase them effectively
    • A fabulous gift – change the fabrics, and it becomes suitable for teenagers and adults
    • There are quite a few steps required to complete this project, so it is best suited to a crafter of advanced skills
