Little Baltimore Wallhanging Quilt

This delicate quilted wallhanging pattern by Margo Hardie uses Baltimore applique for the appliqued flowers. If you have ever wanted to try your hand at Baltimore applique but have been intimidated by large Baltimore applique quilts, then this is a great wallhanging pattern with which to begin.

• Margo suggests the applique and binding fabrics be washed well before use to prevent dye bleeding onto the light background fabric.
• The needleturn applique technique was used in this quilt. Any preferred applique technique could be used.
• Quilt as desired. Margo hand quilted her quilt. She quilted in the ditch around the applique shapes and stitched the lines of cross hatching.
