Summer is the time for sweet indulgences. And nothing tempts more than a bowl of chilled cherries and a dip into a chocolate box. To prolong the holiday pleasure, Michelle Ridgway captured the sugar-rich treats in fabric and thread in this appliqued quilt pattern.
- Full materials list included in instructions
- Detailed step-by-step instructions, colour photographs and clear diagrams take you through the each step of this quilt pattern.
- Pattern sheet is included with templates for the applique templates, ready for tracing.
- This quilt pattern works very well with any number of colour palettes. You can let your imagination run wild.
- The applique method used is needle turn applique, but you can adapt the instructions to your preferred applique technique.
- To make the small hexagon rosettes, you can use leftover pieces from jelly rolls as long as they're at least 10 1/2in long.
- Quilt as desired. Michelle's quilt was machine quilted by Fiona Robinson. She echo quilted the rosettes and worked feather designs in Borders 3 and 4.
- This project is recommended for an intermediate crafter who wants to extend their quilt making skills.
